It’s very easy to get to and it’s a nice place to spend a couple of hours. We didn’t see anyone in the parking lot or on the hike, but there were plenty of people on the sand dunes. It is just that the sand dunes are so enormous, you aren’t ever close to anyone. There are a couple of resorts on Fraser Island, or you can stay at one of the campgrounds on Fraser Island. I never got a picture from the lookout as it was crowded with people when we arrived and when we left. We stopped a ways from the edge of the cliff and sat our things down. I decided to move a little closer for pictures while the kids played with their sand toys.
